version of Darksiders – an action-adventure game from 2010. The original
game was developed by Vigil Games, while Nordic Games is responsible
for the remaster.
Plot
The campaign of Darksiders: Warmastered Edition contains practically the same content as the original version. We assume the role of War, one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. He falls victim to a conspiracy that leads to a premature end of the world, and sparking a war between Hell and Heaven. For this crime, he is divested of most of his powers, but receives an opportunity to visit the destroyed Earth in order to find the culprits and administer their punishment. Along the way, he will have to face not only the demonic powers ruling the remains of our planet, but also the vengeful angels that are chasing him.Mechanics
Darksiders Warmastered Edition for PC / Windows is also faithful to the original solutions when it comes to mechanics. Once again, we receive an action-adventure title, played from a TPP camera. The gameplay focuses on exploring large maps of a partially open structure, solving occasional riddles, and most of all – forcing your way through the hordes of enemies, using an advanced combat system, allowing the use of many types of weaponry and numerous special moves. The adventure is complemented by occasional boss encounters.The character development system is also present, allowing unlocking new abilities and upgrading weaponry, as well as acquiring artifacts that provide various useful bonuses.
Technical Aspects
The biggest mainstay of Darksiders Warmastered Edition in comparison with the predecessor are visual changes.
